I earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.I worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art for 29 years. I worked on a crew for Christo and Jeanne-Claude's GATES Project in Central Park. I have taught art at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Salisbury, NC and Gaston College, Dallas, NC. I currently have a studio at the Visual And Performing Arts Center (VAPA) in Charlotte, NC
I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, including nature, travel experiences, and emotions. I find collaborating with other artists to be incredibly motivating. I am always inspired by works of art both contemporary and historical. I am constantly seeking new sources of inspiration and strive to create unique and expressive pieces.
